What do you see?

To me, it looks like an aurora dancing above a vast mountain range.

Deep, earthy tones form the mountains below.

Above them, flashes of red, orange, and green emerge from the stone, shifting with every movement.

Tilt it slightly, and the landscape changes.

Colors that seemed hidden only moments before suddenly appear, then disappear again.

This ever-changing play of color is one of the most extraordinary characteristics of natural opal.

And in this piece, it feels almost alive.

Like an aurora moving silently across the night sky.
