What do you see?

To me, it looks like waves rolling over a coral reef.

Deep blue and turquoise spread across the stone, while the natural brown ironstone appears beneath them like a reef seen through clear water.

Across the center, a soft band of light seems to move through the scene — like a wave gently brushing over the reef.

What makes this Boulder Opal especially fascinating is its sense of depth.

Although the surface is solid, the layers of blue, green, brown, and flashes of light create an almost three-dimensional landscape.

It feels less like looking at a gemstone, and more like looking down at a tiny ocean from above.
